This is an active study into the moments where intent turns into hesitation. The question and method are public; conclusions will be added when the evidence supports them.
The question
Where does customer confidence break across an ecommerce journey? The review looks for recurring moments when customers slow down, reverse direction or abandon an otherwise high-intent path.
Observe the whole decision, not one isolated screen.
The scope
Discovery, product detail, cart and checkout are examined as one connected experience. Friction introduced at one stage may only become visible at the next.
The method
Behavioral analytics, journey recordings, interface patterns and commercial context are compared before a finding is proposed. Isolated anomalies are separated from patterns that repeat across journeys.
Current progress
The question is framed and the sample is structured. Evidence review is in progress. Findings and a practical friction map will appear here once the review is complete.
What comes next
Supported findings, limitations and a reusable way to locate and prioritize confidence gaps will replace this progress note. No findings are presented before the evidence is ready.
